Heidelberg Materials AG - New Development of the Haßmersheim Gypsum Mine, Germany

Planning, Tendering and Construction Support for the New Development of the Haßmersheim Gypsum Mine

Since January 2025, DHC has been supporting Heidelberg Materials in the new development of the Haßmersheim gypsum mine. The project comprises a broad range of mining engineering, planning, tendering, permitting, and construction supervision services related to the development of new underground infrastructure and future raw material extraction.

DHC’s work includes the preparation of tender documents for the excavation of an underground explosives storage facility and ventilation drifts, the preparation of tender documents for raw material extraction based on an existing design concept, and construction supervision during the rehabilitation of the conveyor adit. In addition, DHC developed a concept including cost estimates for an unplanned temporary suspension of mining operations.

The project demonstrates DHC’s integrated expertise in underground mine planning, permitting support, operational risk assessment, and construction supervision.

Scope of Services
